Product Series — AU320

AU320 Simple VFD (and AU321)

The AU320 is the range's simple workhorse: the product material describes a new-generation low-cost inverter with a new compact structure, built for the price-sensitive, space-sensitive end of general machinery. Its published model table lists 20 models, with power, output current and overall dimensions among the fields printed for each.

Input classes per the published AU320 table header: S1 = single-phase 200–240 V input (DC 150–400 V MPPT); S3 = three-phase 200–240 V input (DC 150–400 V MPPT); G3 = three-phase 340–440 V input (DC 250–800 V MPPT). AU320 output is three-phase 0–240 V (S1/S3) or 0–440 V (G3) at 0–400 Hz. Dimensions above are the overall L×D×H figures where the source table states them.

Functions (published)

Published applications

The series' product material names its application examples directly: smart small water pumps and engraving machines are the examples it gives for the multi-scene small machines the series serves. Engraving duty is collected on the spindle page.

Reading the model code

The model code carries the specification. In AU320-2.2S1, the number is the power in kilowatts (2.2 kW) and the suffix is the input class: S1 for single-phase 200–240 V input, S3 and G3 for the three-phase-input rows. The current printed beside each row is the model's published output current — 9 A for the 2.2S1 — and the dimension column prints the unit's overall dimensions (170×79×127 mm on the smallest frame, growing to 249×143×172 mm on the 11 kW G3 row).

The simple PLC and PID functions

Two built-in functions lift the AU320 above a plain speed control in its published function set: the simple PLC function and the built-in PID software function — both named in the series' product item, together with the dual analogue inputs and the AVR output-voltage-regulation function.

Frequently asked questions

AU320 or AU321?

The documented difference between the two is functional: on the AU320 basis, the AU321 adds RS485 Modbus communication, a built-in braking unit and temperature protection, per the series documentation. Both share the published model envelope.

Is the AU320 suitable for a pump?

Its platform listing includes a one-to-one pump configuration with constant-pressure water supply function, and built-in PID is documented. For multi-pump sets, the dedicated pump lines on the pump page are the fuller answer.
