Why HVAC is a documented Ausenist application
HVAC is one of the industry solutions named in the company's own profile. The AUD32 slim-type documentation lists HVAC among its application industries and describes a dedicated energy-saving mode for fan applications, which its documentation states can save more than 35% energy on fan duty. The EV510 documentation names fans and pumps among its target loads.
The series, with their documented duties
| AUD32 slim type | Slim book-format drive for panel builders; V/F and SVC control; energy-saving mode documented for fan applications; nominal input 320–480 V |
| EV510 | General-purpose vector drive documented for fans and pumps; input classes 220/380/480/690/1140 V; built-in PID documented |
Control behaviour that matters in buildings
- Automatic voltage regulation (AVR) — the EV510 documents AVR: output voltage is held constant automatically when the mains voltage changes within the permissible range.
- Built-in PID — the EV510 documents built-in PID, described in its documentation as realising a process control close-loop system; the AU320's product item names a built-in PID software function; the pump lines document PID constant-pressure control from pressure sensor inputs (0–10 V gauge, 4–20 mA transmitter).
- Over-voltage and over-current stall control — documented on the EV510, limiting current and voltage during running.
- Multi-speed and preset operation — the AUD32 publishes up to 16 speed settings, and the EV510 publishes multi-stage speed running via its built-in PLC or control terminals.
- Communications — RS485 interfaces are documented on the EV510, with CANopen and CANlink also listed in its documentation; see the Modbus VFD page.
Installation conditions, as published
The EV510 documentation specifies indoor installation away from direct sunlight, dust and corrosive or combustible gases, an ambient temperature of −10 °C to +40 °C (with derating between 40 °C and 50 °C), humidity below 95% RH without condensation, and an altitude below 1,000 m. The sealed IP65 waterproof line is covered on its own page. Fan-specific sizing and selection are covered on the VFD for fans page.
Frequently asked questions
Can one drive run both a fan and a pump?
The EV510 documentation names fans and pumps among its target loads, and the AUD32 lists HVAC among its industries. State the load type, the motor rating and the duty in your enquiry, and ask for the model and control mode for that load to be stated in the quotation.
What supply tolerance should I plan for?
The AUD32's product summary publishes a nominal voltage of 320–480 V; the EV510 publishes input voltage ranges of 380/220 V ±15% and an input frequency range of 47–63 Hz. If your site supply moves outside the published bands of the series you are considering, say so in the enquiry.
Is a dedicated HVAC model required?
No dedicated HVAC-only series is published. The AUD32 documentation lists HVAC among its industries; the EV510 documentation names fans and pumps among its target loads. State your fan or pump duty in the enquiry and ask which documented series applies to it.
Send us your motor rating and application
Tell us the motor power, the supply voltage on site and what the drive will run — pump, fan, machine tool or lift. Minimum order is 1 piece on the main catalogue lines, as published on the platform store; ask for price and lead time for your model and quantity to be stated in the quotation.
