How the YSG is documented to work
The YSG documentation describes a DC-to-AC conversion device built specifically to drive AC induction-motor water pumps. It adjusts output voltage and frequency automatically with sunlight intensity, using maximum power point tracking (MPPT) with a published YSG tracking efficiency of 97–99%. In hybrid mode the system switches between solar and mains or generator power on its own: when sunlight is insufficient, or at night, AC power supplements or takes over; when sunlight returns, the system switches back — keeping the water supply running around the clock. Selected YSG models in the 0.75–2.2 kW band carry a built-in booster, letting the pump start with fewer panels.

The model table continues beyond these examples — send your pump's power, voltage and the site conditions, and ask for the model and the recommended panel voltage for it to be covered in the quotation. Documented application fields are farm and orchard irrigation, drinking-water supply for remote communities, livestock watering, and environmental work such as desert control and pond aeration. For mains-powered pumping see the pump VFD range; the published figures for solar pumping are in the solar pump inverter price guide.
Frequently asked questions
Can the system run the pump at night?
In hybrid AC/DC mode, yes: the documentation describes automatic switching to mains or generator power when sunlight is insufficient, and back to solar when it returns. Pure solar-only models are also published; state which behaviour you need.
What panel voltage does my model need?
It is model-specific — the published YSG table gives a recommended panel voltage window per model (for example 120–450 V on the 0.75 kW YSG booster model, 400–800 V on 7.5 kW YSG three-phase models). Ask for the window for your pump to be stated in the quotation.
Is the inverter weatherproof?
The published protection grade is IP65 for the standard range, with IP21 noted for some high-power cabinet models. Ask for the grade for your selected model to be stated in the quotation.
Send us your motor rating and application
Tell us the motor power, the supply voltage on site and what the drive will run — pump, fan, machine tool or lift. Minimum order is 1 piece on the main catalogue lines, as published on the platform store; ask for price and lead time for your model and quantity to be stated in the quotation.
